How to choose the right ski size?

There is no ideal size based on each person's height and/or weight. The general rule is to choose a ski that is between the height of the chin and the top of the head. Professional and expert skiers may choose skis that are slightly larger than their height, which allows them to be faster and more aggressive, while beginners and intermediate skiers may choose shorter skis (closer to the height of their chin) for a more maneuverable feel.
